What to wear
South Sydney High School is a uniform school. The staff, parents/caregivers and students of South Sydney High School have agreed that all students are required to wear school uniform as defined below.

Boys uniform
Pants
Black cargo shorts and/or trousers with school initials embroidered on side pocket (board shorts, sports shorts, corduroy shorts, baggy shorts and logos are not acceptable).
Shirt
Junior - Green short sleeve shirt with embroidered school crest on pocket
Senior - White short sleeve shirt with embroidered school crest on pocket
Jumper
Bottle green knitted jumper with embroidered school crest and/or bottle green polar fleece with embroidered school crest.
Blazer
Regulation black school blazer
Shoes
All black, leather, low-cut shoes - NO boots
Socks
Plain white or black short socks
Jewellery
No jewellery except for watch, sleepers or small studs are to be worn visibly.
Make-up
No makeup to be worn during school.
Girls uniform
Pants
Bottle green bootleg pants
Skirt
Junior - Tartan green skirt
Senior - Bottle green skirt for summer or winter
Shirt
Junior - Yellow short sleeve blouse with bottle green piping and embroidered school crest on collar
Senior - White short sleeve blouse with bottle green piping and embroidered school crest on collar
Jumper
Bottle green knitted jumper with embroidered school crest and/or bottle green polar fleece with embroidered school crest.
Blazer
Regulation green school blazer
Shoes
All black, leather, low-cut shoes - NO boots
Socks
Junior - White or black socks or black stockings
Senior - White or black socks or black stockings
Jewellery
No jewellery except for watch, sleepers or small studs are to be worn visibly.
Make-up
No makeup to be worn during school.
Sports uniform
for junior and senior boys and girls
- Micromesh polo shirt with jacquard collar and embroidered school crest.
- Black microfibre shorts and/or trackpants with red and green vertical strip and embroidered school initials.
- Bottle green polar fleece with embroidered school crest and/or bottle green knitted jumper with embroidered school crest.
- Plain white short socks and sports shoes with non-marking soles.
