South Sydney High School accepts international students who are involved in the NSW Department of Education and Training's Study Abroad Program.
Students are enrolled in Years 10 to 12 and come generally from European and South American countries.
These students come to study for three, six or twelve months, or can study for one to four terms (usually in Years 10 and 11). Some students convert to the Graduate Program and complete their HSC very successfully.
Study Abroad Students are taken on excursions to further their cultural experiences in Australia. One such day excursion is to Symbio Wildlife Park, which allows our international students to experience Australian wildlife up close.
