Bring your own device at South Sydney High School
Bring your own device (BYOD) allows students in all years to bring their own electronic device to school for study purposes.
Device specifications and terms of use are specified in the BYOD policy.
Year 11 and 12 students are required to bring a working device to school from the start of Term 1.
This information will be communicated directly to parents and caregivers also.
Students are encouraged to read the South Sydney High School BYOD policy document in full as it has a direct impact on day to day preparation for school.
If you are purchasing a new device for this purpose, you should ensure that the device you choose meets the device specifications as noted in the policy.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Dave Tipple by email dave.tipple@det.nsw.edu.au or call the school on 9349 3868.
Remember;
- read the policy in full
- check the specifications BEFORE purchasing
- be ready with your device, day 1 of Term 1
- bring your device, in good working order, fully charged every day
- ask for help if you need financial assistance
